Founder's Award Celebration

The Fleisher Art Memorial was proud to present the 24th Annual Founder's Award on to distinguished honorees, Dina and Jerry Wind.

The Fleisher Art Memorial’s Founder’s Award recognizes individuals whose significant commitment to providing access to the arts, promoting excellence in creative expression, and enriching Philadelphia’s cultural resources reflects the values of its founder, Samuel S. Fleisher.

ABOUT THE 2013 HONOREES

Dina Wind’s sculptures have been called provocative and powerful. Jerry Wind, The Lauder Professor and Professor of Marketing at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, has been named one of ten Legends of Marketing by SAGE Publications. To the Fleisher Art Memorial, Dina and Jerry Wind are cultural ambassadors whose championing of the Wind Challenge Exhibition Series has invigorated Philadelphia’s premier juried exhibition program for emerging contemporary artists. Their remarkable support of organizations both large and small has broadened access to the arts for Philadelphia’s citizens and extends from the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Arts and Business Council of  Greater Philadelphia to Philadelphia Sculptors and the Relâche Ensemble. Fleisher is honored to celebrate Dina and Jerry Wind’s achievements with the 2013 Founder’s Award
