Unconventional Wisdom, Centennial Capital Campaign

At the start of our second century, Fleisher is committed to meet the urgent demand for our programs. "Two times a year, six hundred children and their parents wait for hours to sign up for classes. At four hundred, we close the door," explains President Jim Crawford.

For many of these children, Fleisher is the sole resource for arts education. Fleisher's centennial capital campaign, Unconventional Wisdom, will increase student capacity by 50%, assure access for the disabled, upgrade safety, improve studio facilities, and expand exhibition opportunities to prepare for future generations.

Your gift will help us reach our goals of:

An expanded, fully accessible, entrance area to accommodate registration, reception, and retail functions.
A central visitor circulation "core" with an ADA certified elevator, with rest room facilities and other amenities on every floor.
An integrated centrally monitored smoke, heat and intruder-detection system and sprinkler facilities.
New heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and electrical systems.
Upgraded lighting and new furniture and equipment in all studios.
