Your Support is Key to Fleisher's Success!

The Fleisher Art Memorial is one of the country’s first community-based arts centers, and the only visual arts organization of its size and scope in South Philadelphia. Fleisher is a source of inspiration, creativity and community, annually providing opportunities for over 17,000 individuals to experience and participate in the transformative power of art through education, exhibitions and community engagement.

Programs at the Fleisher Art Memorial are inspired by its founder, Samuel Fleisher, who over 100 years ago invited "the world to come learn art." Today, the organization is fortunate to benefit from Mr. Fleisher’s charitable trust that covers only a third of its expenses. So Fleisher must count on the generosity of individuals, foundations, corporations and government grants to help support the arts education programming for which we have become well known.
