NOVEMBER 2009
George Ferrandi hosts informal tea meetings with members of the community. During this time, George will begin to develop prototype forms for casting paper sculptures.

DECEMBER 2009 – JANUARY 2010
Work continues on the prototypes and casting begins.

On January 27th, the Wherever There Is Water exhibition — part of Philagrafika 2010 — opens to the public, but the installation will continue to evolve as more pieces are completed.

FEBRUARY 2010
Fabrication of sculptures continues.

NEW DATE: 27 FEBRUARY 2010, 7:00–9:00 PM
Join us for the perfect night out. On Saturday, February 27th, we will be hosting Torch Lights & Toddies in the Sanctuary. Open to adults only (sorry, little ones), the evening will include hot toddies, music, and lessons in paper lantern making. Torch Light & Toddies is free and begins at 7:00 PM. Please RSVP to nightprocession@gmail.com.

MARCH 2010
George establishes the Fleisher Choir and begins rehearsals (every Tuesday, 5:30–7:30 PM). Work continues on the sculptures.

APRIL 2010
Throughout the month of April, we will be hosting a series of lantern-making workshops in the Center for Works on Paper gallery, which is also George's studio. These free events will be held every Thursday from 6:00–9:00 PM, and cover a different style of lantern each week. (more information coming soon!)

Final day of Wherever There Is Water exhibition

5–23 APRIL 2010
George finishes construction and illumination of sculptures for night parade.

24 APRIL 2010, at dusk
Night parade in honor of Huberta through the streets of South Philadelphia!
