The Fleisher Art Memorial presents the fourth biennial invitational exhibition and sale of original art to benefit Fleisher's education and exhibition programs. Dear Fleisher, 4 x 6 Inches of Art features original art in postcard size in a range of media. In keeping with Fleisher's mission of access for all, each piece is priced at $50 and sold on a first-come, first-served basis — with no presales. Each postcard is signed on the back, keeping the artist's identity a surprise until after the sale and allowing viewers the pleasure of focusing on the strength of the work itself.
Since its inaugural event in 2004, Dear Fleisher has collectively featured over 1,900 works by 800 artists and raised over $100,000 for Fleisher's programs.
The Dear Fleisher Exhibition and Sale will begin at 1:00 PM on Sunday, September 26th. A $5 contribution at the door is suggested and refreshments will be served.

However, several pieces of artwork created especially for the Preview Party by an honorary committee of artists will be offered by raffle and silent auction during the evening. The committee includes Bo Bartlett, Jill Bonovitz, David Brewster, Giovanni Casadei, Frances Galante, Tim Hawkesworth, Jane Irish, Nancy Bea Miller, Kurt Solmssen, and Stephen Talasnik (chair).

Although most of the works were sold during the event, we still have 230 great pieces of art for sale! Browse the available work on Flickr, or stop by our front desk.
