Michael Miller

Untitled #132, 2001, mixed media
Michael Miller uses the walls and the floor to create complex installations that catch and focus light in web-like patterns. Miller places a large number of mixed media and glass cube forms in the space and projects light rays through one object to another, which fills the gallery with a glowing energy. Within the individual objects the viewer finds images or projections suggesting a narrative journey linked by rays of light. Mr. Miller received his B.F.A. from Kutztown University and his M.F.A. from Maryland Institute, College of Art.
