Joy Feasley

Salem Harbor, 2002, engraved resin on aluminum, 12" x 16"
Joy Feasley’s otherworldly and supernatural installation strives to poetically remind the viewer of and our own smallness in relation the majesty of the night sky. For the installation of her work at Fleisher, Feasley blends three-dimensional components that make references to the crystal structure of the Moravian star with a selection of her paintings in order to create the feeling of other worldly space. Ms. Feasley studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts (Boston), Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, and Massachusetts College of Art.
