Jody Ehrlich

Window Birth, 1999, Oil and wax on paper
Jody Ehrlich makes gem-like paintings rich with paint and glazes of color. The paintings are abstract representations of textures and random happenings such as the stain on a street sign or the surface of a deteriorating building. As he passes through the world, Ehrlich is constantly recording random observations of his environment that later find expression in his paintings. Mr. Ehrlich received his B. A. and his Masters of Education from Temple University.
