Lanny Bergner

Being Forest, 1997, screen,mono-filament, wire, H35" x W15" x D15"
By using hand-on processes of fraying, twisting, wrapping and knotting, I transform industrial screening, wire and mono-filament into organic constructions. My desire is to create works that appear to have grown into being. I love the natural world and am constantly inspired by its beauty and infinite varieties of form.
