Theater at Southwark House

Southwark House is a United Communities of Southeast Philadelphia community center at Front & Ellsworth Streets focusing on pre-school and after-school programs for children, as well as teen mother and senior programs. Nadia Pillay, a theater student from the University of the Arts, led an interactive theater class for 12 children aged 5 to 11 enrolled in Southwark’s after-school program. This class combined theatre, games and athletic skill building.
