Mural class at South Philadelphia High School

In Fall 2000, Kristin Goddard, one of CPA’s veteran teaching artists, launched a mural class at South Philadelphia High School for 15 recent immigrants who were in the school's new ESOL after-school program, partially sponsored by the School District’s Office of Language Equity Issues. The class explored issues of cultural transition while painting murals on the interior walls of the school.
