Public School Residencies
CPA’s innovative theme-based projects are geared primarily for children from kindergarten through eighth grade, but can be developed for any student group. CPA works closely with principals, teachers, small learning community coordinators, and the school district’s curriculum coordinators to ensure that its projects complement the School District of Philadelphia curriculum frameworks as well as the diversity of student learners. Teaching Artists work closely with classroom teachers and art specialists in these three-ten week projects.Examples of recent projects include:
