Drawing and Animation at Houston Community Center

Heng Han, a CAPA and University of the Arts graduate, taught animation at the newly created South Philadelphia Family Center, a collaborative project of United Communities of Southeast Philadelphia and Asian Americans United. Fifteen middle-school students drew and learned computer animation. Heng returns to Fleisher in this new project, having served in a support capacity for Chamroeun Yin’s classes during the years of the Pew-funded Arts Education Development Project.
