The Spring Flowers Project

An evolution of the Snowflake Project, this project was designed for the first grade class at E. M. Stanton School by Kate Kern Mundie. It examined geometry in nature using flowers as a link between math and science. In response to the initial idea for the project proposed by Fleisher, the classroom teacher developed an extensive curriculum on flowers of which the residency was a part. Artist: Kate Kern Mundie
