Summer 2010 workshops:
A new semester of exciting workshops for adults, children and teens

SIX WEEKS: 6 JULY — 16 AUGUST 2010

Welcome to the twentieth season of summer workshops at the Fleisher Art Memorial.

Program offerings for Summer 2010 include:

  • Six weeks of day and evening workshops for adults in a diverse array of media — drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, both digital and analog photography, ceramics, mosaics, collage, and more

  • Week-long age-appropriate workshops for children and teens – exciting projects for young artists ages 5 to 7, 8 to 10, 11 to 13, and 14 to 18

  • Special weekend intensive workshops and open studios present opportunities for adult students of all levels to explore a new medium or application — including landscape painting, animal sculpture, papermaking, and more

  • and weekend master workshops for advanced adult students who are looking to develop concrete skills sets and/or new avenues to explore their art — including art quilts, overglazing with oils, and more

How to Register

Deadline to Register
Fleisher workshops fill fast, so early registration is recommended. The deadline for receiving registrations is June 21st. Registrations for open workshops will be accepted after the deadlines, but workshops that have not met minimum enrollment levels by this date will be cancelled.

Tuition, Materials Fees, and Membership
All participants in Fleisher's summer workshops are requested to give a membership contribution in addition to the tuition fees (for adults: $15 for the semester, or $60 for a full twelve months; for children: $10 for the semester; for families: $90 for a full twelve months). Tuition costs with model, firing, and/or materials fees are listed with each course description.

Tuition Assistance is available on a limited basis; write to eromick@fleisher.org, call 215.922.3456, ext. 348, or download a financial aid form before you register. The deadlines for submitting financial aid forms is June 21st.

Refunds/ Withdrawals
If Fleisher cancels a workshop due to inadequate enrollment, registrants will receive full refunds for all fees paid for that class, excluding memberships. Students who wish to withdraw from a class after registering must notify Fleisher's Registrar in writing in order to receive a refund.
Adult workshops: 75% of the tuition will be refunded before the first class, 50% before the second class, and 25% before the third class. After the third class, there are no refunds. Children, Teen, and Parent workshops: 75% of the tuition will be refunded before the first class. After the first class, there are no refunds
