Special Workshops & Programs
SPRING 2009

DATES AND DURATIONS VARY (see individual listings for details)

In response to large demand for additional classes at the beginning of the semester, we are expanding our art school program to include a new series of daytime and evening workshops.

  • Add drawing, painting, and photography to your afternoons by enrolling in a five-week adult workshop or by signing up for monitored open studio time.

  • Learn how to quilt or create beautiful batik designs in a series of single-session adult workshops in fiber arts.

Become a member today, and receive a discount on workshop tuition.

If you would like to add yourself to the waiting list for a workshop marked as closed, please log on to MyFleisher now to select the item of your choice.

We will contact you if there is an opening.

The information on this page will change frequently as we accept registrations, so please refresh your browser to see the most up-to-date version. New offerings may be added throughout the semester in response to exhibitions and other programming.

How to Register
Download the registration form [PDF, 98kb] and mail it in with your payment, register through this website (follow the secure link in the course description), or register in person at 719 Catharine Street.

Please register for special workshops or programs no later than one week before the starting date. Fleisher workshops fill quickly, so early registration is recommended. Registrations for open workshops will be accepted after the deadline, but workshops that have not received the minimum number of required enrollments by that date will be cancelled.

Tuition, Materials Fees, and Membership
Tuition and materials fees — when applicable — for special workshops and programs vary; see individual listings for details. Model, firing/glazing, chemicals, and materials fees are listed after each workshop and must be paid at the time of registration. Adults are asked to take a membership of $30 for the term, or $60 for a full calendar year ($40 for senior citizens; $90 for a household). Those taking a membership at the time of registration will receive the member's discount on tuition.

Refunds/
Withdrawals/
Cancellations

If Fleisher cancels a workshop due to inadequate enrollment, registrants will receive full refunds for all fees paid for that workshop (if any), excluding membership contributions. Students who wish to withdraw must notify Fleisher's Registrar in writing in order to receive a refund. 75% of the tuition will be refunded before the first class, 50% before the second class, and 25% before the third class. After the third class there are no refunds.
