Act 48 Credit for Pennsylvania Educators

The PA Department of Education’s requires all Pennsylvania educators holding public school certification to participate in ongoing professional education. This is commonly referred to as Act 48 credit.

Fleisher is an Act 48 credit provider, offering dozens of workshops that help educators develop new skills, tap into their creative potential, develop innovative approaches to teaching and learning, and fill their classroom “toolbox” with new and engaging techniques that will enhance their curriculum.

In order to receive Act 48 credit for these courses, educators must fill out the Act 48 form, available by downloading here or for pick-up in person at the Fleisher front desk. There is a $5 administrative fee which must be paid in person upon delivery of the Act 48 form.

The number of Act 48 hours for these workshops is equal to the number of class hours attended (maximum of 30 per workshop in a ten-week semester).
