Dear Fleisher returns

SEPTEMBER 24 — 26, 2010

The fourth biennial Dear Fleisher, 4 x 6 Inches of Art exhibit and sale is scheduled for the weekend of September 24th through– 26th. That's right, we are making a weekend out of it, hosting a preview reception on Friday evening (no sales then, sorry), artists' breakfast on Saturday morning, and exhibit and sale on Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 PM.

Hundreds of pieces of postcard-sized artworks will be displayed anonymously and available for $50 each, making it a great opportunity to expand (or start) your art collection. You never know who you will find.

Of course, we do not know what happens with these pieces once you take them home, but we would love to know. Why not tell us on the Dear Fleisher Facebook page, and have your name entered into a special raffle for a free piece from this year's show? It's really easy. Post a picture and tell your Dear Fleisher story. We will enter the names of everyone who posts a picture and story on the Facebook page into a drawing with one lucky winner receiving a coupon for a free piece on Sunday, September 26th.

Since its inception in 2004, Dear Fleisher has featured 1,900 works by 800 artists and raised more than $100,000 for our arts education and exhibition programs. We are extremely thankful to the generosity of hundreds of acclaimed artists — local, national, and international — who have donated their time and talents.
