Guidelines for Teaching Applicants

Fleisher Art Memorial employs experienced artist teachers for adult classes, children's classes, and off-site in-school and after-school residency programs. We encourage you to check our website periodically for postings of job openings at Fleisher.

In order to be considered, applications for teaching positions must include a current résumé, images of current work, images of work created by students, three professional references, course descriptions and curriculum outlines for courses taught, and any supporting documentation, evaluation and assessments of previous teaching experience. We prefer a teaching experience of a minimum of two years.

Applicants applying for positions involving youth must be able to present clearance certificates of PA State Police Criminal Record Check and PA Child Abuse History.
